The Santa Ynez Valley is a unique hamlet of towns and cities located on the Central Coast of California, northeast and inland from Santa Barbara, often touted as the American Riviera. The towns and cities include: Santa Ynez, Solvang, Los Olivos, Buellton, Ballard, and Los Alamos. Each place is incredibly unique and special, with it’s own culture and style. Los Olivos is known for art and fine dining and, more recently, fine wine. Santa Ynez is known for the ranching culture and old west feel. Solvang is touted for Danish pastries and windmills, Buellton for it’s Anytown USA friendly and affordable-modern feel. Los Alamos is known for being historic, quiet and understated for it’s world class fine dining, antique shops and art galleries.
